Morillon village, with its 16th Century Church, offers a traditional French atmosphere, as it has escaped the attention of the mass market tour operators. An 8 minute drive up the mountain (or by gondola) brings you into the resort of Morillon Les Esserts, (and Chalet Morillon) at a height of 1100 metres. Value for money restaurants and the "local pub" make eating out (on staff day off ) and socialising a pleasure.
Morillon is popular with families and holds the 'Les p'tits Montagnards' label for its superb children facilities. The 'Village des Enfants', for children aged between 6 months and 10, is just 200 yards in front of the chalet.
