Alpine Walking Holidays - £345 p.p.

Join us for a superb Summer Week in the breathtaking French Alps

If your ideal holiday takes you strolling through glorious alpine landscapes, sightseeing and enjoying the local culture along the way, then our Walking Holidays will be perfect for you. Peace and tranquillity, towering mountain peaks perpetually topped with snow, serene lakes, old villages, gorges, pine forests, and grazing pastures are all varieties of our stunning  landscape.

Our walking weeks are not aimed at mountaineers, just those who enjoy walking for pleasure in good company, with frequent pauses en route for photos and refreshment! Some Chairlifts operate during the summer making access into the high Alps so much easier and our chalet minibus will be on hand to access the areas that are not on our doorstep.

Whether you take exclusive occupancy of the chalet with your own group, or share the company of fellow walkers, you will discover the hidden treasures of the beautiful Haute-Savoie Alps.

Each accompanied walk lasts some three to six hours, with a lengthy lunch stop. The only equipment you will need are stout walking shoes, a small rucksack, waterproofs and a camera - you won't want to forget a single moment.

Walks can be easy strolls, medium trails or more difficult treks. Some of the walks start directly from or very close to the chalet. We are very flexible and can tailor-make the walks to suit the groups' exact requirements, from easy walks through alpine pastures to more demanding routes for the more energetic.

Your stay at Chalet Morillon will be fully catered, allowing you to relax and enjoy our hospitality. And at only £345 per person, with no surcharges for single travellers, we believe we offer unbeatable value.

During the day we will accompany you on one of our pre-planned walks, taking in the local sights and surroundings. We will usually call at the local market, and also visit the Sixt fer a Cheval National Park. A day trip to Annecy can also be included, and the trip would not be complete without taking the chairlift up the mountain to appreciate the stunning Alpine views, and the incredible sight of Mont Blanc (please don’t pronounce the “c”)
